Full-Time/Part-Time About the Role The 'Nash Mtn Market is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Baking & Food Prep Associate to join our growing team. This role supports our daily bakery and prepared foods production by assisting with baking, ingredient preparation, food packaging, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing high-quality food, and is excited to contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Because we are a small business, every team member plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for both coworkers and customers. Key ResponsibilitiesBaking & Food Production Prepare ingredients by weighing, measuring, and organizing recipes for daily production. Mix, portion, shape, proof, and bake products according to established recipes and quality standards. Prepare grab-and-go meals, baked goods, and other kitchen items as assigned. Package, label, and date products for retail sale. Maintain consistency in product appearance, taste, and quality. Comfortable switching between baking, prep, stocking, cleaning, and customer service responsibilities. Kitchen Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen following food safety standards. Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and equipment throughout the shift. Properly store ingredients and rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out). Monitor ingredient levels and communicate inventory needs to management. Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries. Identifies tasks that need attention and takes action without waiting to be asked. Customer Experience Brew fresh drip coffee and maintain the coffee station throughout the day. Answer customer questions about products and ingredients when needed. Jump in to assist front-of-house operations during busy periods. Teamwork Communicate effectively with coworkers to keep production running smoothly. Be willing to assist with tasks outside your primary responsibilities when needed. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a supportive team culture. Physical Requirements & Shift Details Stand and walk for up to 8-12 hours. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly. Work a minimum of one weekend a month.
