Job description La Belle® French Bakery is a growing Retail and Wholesale bakery, focused on bringing authentic French pastries to the state of Colorado. All recipes are from scratch, using French methods to provide high quality products. We are looking for a driven individual to take on the role as a Baker, in assistance to our Sous Chef, in our Biscuiterie kitchen. This kitchen specializes in quiche, scones, muffins, cookies and various Gluten Free items.

1 year required in commercial bakery Fundamental knowledge of baking Ability to learn quickly Must be reliable Ability to work as part of a team Ability to meet strict deadlines Able to lift 50lb bags of flour required Knowledge on operating bakery equipments Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations Acute attention to detail Full Job Description You will be responsible as a baker, in assistance to the sous chef, with performing production related to: Making / Baking quiches Making / Baking cookies Making / Baking scones Making / Baking Gluten free pastries Making / Baking muffins and much more with high levels of production Day to day: The day starts at 5:00 AM, when the Sous Chef leads a team briefing to review the production list and assign tasks to each baker. All recipes and SOPs must be followed precisely to ensure consistency and quality. On a typical day, you will produce 4-6 recipes, working with large batches where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. You will be responsible for executing recipes from start to finish and will also collaborate with the team on specific pastries when needed. After each production batch, you are responsible for maintaining your station, including washing your equipment using our commercial dishwasher. The day concludes with a full kitchen cleaning to maintain our high standards of organization and hygiene.
