Bakery Associate

The Flour Girl Bakery is hiring a Baker to join our production team. This role is for someone who loves bakery work, takes pride in consistency and cleanliness, and can work independently while still being a great teammate. You'll be hands-on with prep, production, and daily execution , and we're especially excited about candidates who can help us introduce new product ideas that fit our style and standards. What You'll Do Execute daily bakery prep and production tasks with speed, accuracy, and consistency Scale recipes, portion ingredients, and complete prep work to support the full production schedule Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow food safety standards at all times Support product development by contributing new product ideas and helping test/refine them Communicate clearly with the team and leadership to keep production running smoothly Work weekend shifts as part of your regular schedule Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) Prior bakery experience required (professional kitchen/bakery experience, not just home baking) Serve Safe certification required Must be 18+ Open scheduling availability , including weekend hours Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision Strong prep skills (organization, speed, accuracy, cleanliness) What We're Looking For Someone who wants to be part of a team and contribute long-term A baker who can follow systems but also bring positive energy and ideas A person who shows up, stays focused, and takes ownership of their station and output Pay & Perks Competitive hourly pay plus participation in our company tip pool (tip pool typically increases hourly earnings by several dollars per hour ) Employee discounts and staff meals (if you want this included—tell me and I'll add it) A supportive, fast-paced environment with room to grow
