About us Lighthouse Bakery is a small business in Mystic, CT. We are agile, social and customer-centric. We pride ourselves in giving our customers the best experience possible - and that starts with our baking crew

Hours:

4:00 AM - 8 AM (approximately) 7PM-11PM Lighthouse Bakery is seeking a dedicated and motivated Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking and eager to learn the craft. This position involves early morning

OR LATE NIGHT

shifts, from 4:00 AM to 7:30 AM, 7PM-11PM and requires baking fresh bread approximately 4-5 times per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and baking of bread and other bakery items. Learn and adhere to the bakery's recipes and techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area. Follow health and safety guidelines in food handling and preparation. Gradually gain independence in baking tasks, working towards the ability to handle the responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

Previous baking experience is a plus but not required. Willingness to work early morning hours. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work efficiently and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Compensation:

Starting pay will be discussed based on experience and skills. Opportunities for a pay increase upon demonstrating proficiency and independence in baking tasks.
