Position Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable Bakery Counter Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for daily customer interaction, product knowledge, suggestive selling, packaging bakery items, and maintaining a clean, organized display area.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with a positive attitude Take orders in-store and over the phone accurately Package pastries, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods neatly and professionally Prepare boxes, labels, and price tags Operate the POS system (training provided) Manage special orders and pick-ups Restock bakery cases and maintain product displays Keep front counter, display areas, and beverage station clean and organized Assist with light prep (cutting, boxing, bagging) Handle cash and card transactions responsibly Understand and communicate daily offerings, ingredients, and allergens

Requirements:

Customer service or food service experience preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Attention to detail and professional presentation Ability to stand for extended periods Reliable transportation Willingness to work weekends busy seasonal periods Friendly, respectful, team-oriented attitude Preferred (Not Required): Bakery or café experience Knowledge of pastries, cakes, pies, and similar items

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
