  • Opening and closing the store (alarm, cash drawer, end-of-day count, and reconciling against our POS)
  • Receiving the daily delivery from our production kitchen: checking count, temperature and quality, and flagging anything that isn't right before it hits the case.
  • The pastry case — rotation, restocking, and making sure it looks as good at 2 p.m. as it did at 7 a.m. Showcase breads and products freshly baked
  • Running the shift: assigning positions, covering breaks, keeping the line moving during the morning rush, and handling customer issues on the spot.
  • Food safety and cleanliness standards — temperatures, labeling, dates, and everything a surprise inspection would look at.
  • Tracking daily waste by product and reporting it — this is what tells our kitchen how much to bake tomorrow. What we're looking for Required

  • Comfortable handling cash and reconciling a drawer accurately, every day.
  • Real weekend and early-morning availability — this is a bakery.

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. All new hires are verified through E-Verify. Nice to have
