Part-time (Thursdays and Fridays from 7am•3pm)

Private home bakery (garage-based), [Lauderhill/Sunrise]

About Us:

We are a home-based artisan bakery serving a loyal and growing customer base. We bake fresh sourdough bread every Friday and prepare our dough on Thursday. We are expanding our operation and customer base. We take pride in quality, tradition, and craft.

The Role:

We're looking for the right person to become an important part of our small artisan sourdough bakery. This is a hands-on job where you'll learn the entire sourdough process from start to finish. On Thursdays, you'll prepare, mix, ferment, and shape the dough, and on Fridays, you'll bake the bread. We're open to both experienced bakers and someone who is simply eager to learn—we'll provide hands-on training and teach you our process. We're looking for someone who is dependable, can follow directions, pays attention to the details, and enjoys working with their hands. Over time, the goal is for you to become comfortable and confident enough to take ownership of the weekly production process and run it independently.

Responsibilities:

Assist with and eventually take over the dough preparation and weekly baking Clean work area including containers•maintain overall cleanliness Potentially develop new bread or baked goods products

What We're Looking For:

See above•additionally: Self-motivated and comfortable working in a small, informal setting Reliable and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule

Compensation:

$18•23/hour, based on experience
