Duties Prepare a variety of baked goods including cookies, pies, ice cream, and cakes following established recipes and quality standards Decorate cakes with creative designs, piping, and other artistic techniques to meet customer specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and decorating tools safely and efficiently Package baked items carefully to ensure freshness and presentation for retail display or catering orders Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards Assist customers at the checkout counter with friendly service, answering questions about products and taking orders accurately Handle food preparation tasks including dough mixing, portioning, and cooking while ensuring consistency in quality and taste Experience Previous experience in food production or bakery settings is highly preferred, especially with baked goods and pastry preparation Demonstrated cake decorating skills with a portfolio of decorated cakes or relevant training in pastry arts Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and decorating tools Strong understanding of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures Experience in high-volume production environments is advantageous for managing busy periods efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and create positive interactions with guests Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels effectively Join us if you're passionate about baking, decorating beautiful cakes, delivering top-notch customer service, and working in a lively culinary environment!
