The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and baking, with experience in the food industry. This role involves preparing dough and frosting for a variety of flavors or cookies, ensuring consistency, safety, and presentation. The Dough Maker will work closely with our bakery and kitchen staff to produce delicious products that meet our standards of excellence. A strong understanding of food safety, handling, and kitchen operations is essential to succeed in this position. Must possess strong attention to detail and must be able to follow a recipe. This position will also float to other stations after their workload is complete for the day. This position is a critical part of our daily operations and must be reliable to fulfill scheduled shifts each and every day. Responsibilities Prepare doughs/frostings for cookies according to recipes and specifications Measure ingredients accurately and mix ingredients using appropriate techniques and equipment Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety standards and hygiene regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment Support the kitchen team in food preparation tasks as needed Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure product quality Adhere to production schedules to meet daily demands Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be able to work up to 6 hours on feet. Bending, scooping, lifting, twisting, etc. Must not have any limitations in those areas. Experience Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts is preferred Familiarity with food handling safety standards and kitchen operations Experience working in a restaurant, catering, or bakery environment is advantageous Customer service experience related to food industry settings is beneficial This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating exceptional baked goods.
