Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Decorate cakes according to customer requests and specifications
• Create visually appealing designs using various cake decorating techniques
• Ensure cakes are prepared and decorated in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines
• Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure efficient production and delivery of cakes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cake decorating area
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing cakes
• Package finished cakes for display or delivery

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cake decorator, preferably in a restaurant or pastry shop setting
• Strong skills in cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and icing
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations in the food industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and artistic ability
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with customers
