We make everything from scratch every day: mini cheesecakes, ice cream, and more. We're a growing local business with a loyal following, and we're hiring a full-time baker to help us grow. About the pay, up front: starting pay is $12/hour, and we'll start you higher if you bring proven bakery or production kitchen experience. You'll earn a raise when you show you can run your prep list on your own, to our specifications, without someone checking behind you. That's the deal: prove you can do the job independently and correctly, and your pay goes up. Performance, not tenure. What you'll do: Bake mini cheesecakes and other desserts from our documented recipes (weight-based measurements, written standards for every product) Complete a daily prep list from start to finish Keep your station clean and organized as you work Count and track product and ingredients accurately Close down your area completely at the end of your shift What we expect, honestly: Follow the recipe exactly. Consistency is the product. Work at a real pace. We have production benchmarks and we measure against them. Finish what you start. Your prep list gets done every shift; leaving work for the next person is not how we operate. Respect the schedule. A six-hour job should take six hours. If you read that list and thought "that's just how a kitchen should run," you're who we're looking for.
Requirements:
Reliable attendance and the ability to work your scheduled hours Able to stand for full shifts and lift 30+ lbs Baking or production experience preferred but not required; we will train the right person Weekend availability Apply with your work history and tell us briefly about your kitchen experience.
