Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Baker and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management of food production, ensuring the highest standards in food quality, safety, and presentation. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity in cake decorating, pastry arts, and food preparation while maintaining efficient kitchen operations. Duties Lead and supervise the culinary team, fostering a positive and productive work environment Oversee all aspects of food production, including baking, cooking, cake decorating, and food handling Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper sanitation practices across all kitchen activities Manage packaging processes to ensure product quality and presentation meet company specifications Develop innovative recipes and menu items that highlight pastry skills and culinary expertise Coordinate catering events and restaurant services, maintaining high customer service standards Conduct regular training sessions on knife skills, food preparation techniques, and industry best practices Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimize kitchen efficiency Skills Ability to show up on time and work every Tuesday
- Friday 8am
- 4pm as well as Saturday 9:30am
- 5:30pm Extensive experience in cake decorating, baking, and pastry arts with a keen eye for detail Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Proven ability in food industry operations, including kitchen management and food production processes Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence Proficiency in culinary techniques such as cooking, food preparation, and knife skills Experience in catering or restaurant environments demonstrating adaptability and multitasking abilities Familiarity with packaging standards for retail or wholesale food products Strong leadership qualities with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals Join us to lead a vibrant culinary team dedicated to creating memorable food experiences!
Pay:
