Cake Decorator

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced cake decorator to assist with decorating and completing custom cakes. Each cake is unique, and as such this position would be responsible for quickly producing intricate cakes to the specifications of each individual order. Skills Experience in cake and cupcake decorating Efficiency in managing tasks and completing orders as specified by the customer General knowledge of food safety with emphasis in catering to allergies and dietary restrictions Able to complete cakes using techniques like: fondant work, complex piping, sculpted cakes, edible image work, tiered cakes, comfort with modeling chocolate, etc. Eye for design, color, and detail Experience in a commercial kitchen, including dishwashing procedures, safe storage, and food handling Must provide a portfolio of work demonstrating cake decorating experience and skill level! About 10 examples of work showing a variety of skills is preferred.
