Cake Decorator

Job description Overview We are seeking an experienced Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes. You will manage our cake orders, creating cakes according to our guidelines and offerings that meet our customers' specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, artistic flair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are only hiring candidates with cake decorating experience; candidates without cake experience will be excluded from consideration. Responsibilities Design and decorate cakes according to customer requests, ensuring high-quality presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and kitchen. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all products are safe for consumption. Assist in packaging finished products for delivery or display. Requirements Proven experience in cake decorating, preferably in a restaurant, market, or bakery setting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with torting, filling, and finishing cakes with Swiss Meringue Buttercream using various decorating tools and techniques. Neat piping and writing with buttercream. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. A creative mindset with a passion for baking and pastry arts.
