WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A PASTRY COOK

Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service Experience as a pastry cook, preferably in a high-volume restaurant Available to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A PASTRY COOK

Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables and fruits Use a commercial food processor to puree both raw and prepared foods Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges Lift, handle, weigh, and portion pastry items accurately Use a commercial mixer to prepare batters and dough Label, date, and store prepped product Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors Make a daily inventory of product and write a prep list if needed
