Job Description
Savorists is a new from-scratch bakery and dessert café opening this fall in Columbia. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our bakers and help our kitchen run smoothly — a great entry point for someone eager to learn scratch baking. What you'll do Support daily production: mise en place, portioning, assembly, and packaging. Follow recipes and portioning specifications precisely. Help keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and organized, including dish support. Assist the bakers through the morning bake and restock. What we're looking for Entry-level welcome; commercial-kitchen or food-prep experience a plus Detail-oriented; follows recipes and portioning precisely Reliable and eager to learn Food-handler certification (or within 30 days) Morning availability; able to lift 30-50 lbs
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 50.0 per weekBenefits:
