Paris Baguette is opening a brand-new bakery café at 8603 Cameron St in Silver Spring, MD, and we're hiring our founding team to bring it to life. Paris Baguette Silver Spring will bring expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to the community through a warm, welcoming experience that delivers joy to every guest. Schedule:

Full-time, early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays. Includes a required 1-month training period.

WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

As the Baker, you will prepare and bake bread, pastries to Paris Baguette standards, keeping our display cases fresh and beautifully stocked throughout the day. Overall, you will contribute to maintaining excellent product quality and consistency at our new location.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and bake bread, pastries following Paris Baguette standard recipes, portioning, and process Monitor mixing, proofing, and bake times/temperatures to ensure consistent quality and appearance Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures (handwashing, labeling/dating, temperature logs, allergen handling) Keep the bake station, equipment, and walk-in organized and clean Track ingredient inventory and flag low stock to the manager Restock bakery display cases and shelves throughout the day to keep product fresh and presentable Follow opening and closing checklists

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

Prior baking experience preferred (bakery, restaurant, or commercial kitchen); training provided for the right candidate Able to work early-morning shifts, including weekends and holidays Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs Reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced team environment
