Competitive, based on experience Amato's Bakery is seeking a motivated and dependable Bagel Dough Production Associate to join our commercial bakery production team. This role is responsible for mixing, preparing, and processing bagel dough to meet daily production goals while maintaining the high-quality standards that Amato's is known for. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced food production environment. Responsibilities Mix and prepare bagel dough according to established recipes and production schedules Accurately scale ingredients and monitor dough consistency Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers and dough processing equipment Shape, portion, and prepare bagels for proofing and baking Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards Assist with cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and work areas Follow production schedules and meet daily output requirements Lift and transport ingredients and dough containers as needed Work effectively as part of a team in a commercial bakery environment QualificationsPreferred Previous commercial bakery, bagel production, or food manufacturing experience Knowledge of dough mixing, fermentation, and baking processes Experience operating commercial bakery equipment Required Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting Strong attention to detail and quality Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits Competitive wages Paid time off Health benefits Employee meal and product discounts Career growth opportunities Supportive team environment
