Job Description

Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked items according to recipes and production standards. Decorate and finish baked goods with precision and creativity. Ensure consistent quality, taste, appearance, and freshness of all baked products. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality; report any issues to supervisor. Operate ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, and other baking equipment safely and efficiently. Follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications. Collaborate with culinary team members to meet deadlines and service standards. Assist with inventory control by properly storing ingredients and minimizing waste. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of hands-on pastry shop experience in a fast-paced hotel environment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Outstanding teamwork and communication skills. Ability to lift and move materials of various weights and sizes.
