Job Overview Chef Sergey's Bakery is looking for a dependable, motivated Part-Time Baker to join our production team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some baking, kitchen, or food-service experience who wants to develop professional baking skills and grow into a larger role with us. We are initially looking for someone to work approximately 20-26 hours per week , with the opportunity to grow into a full-time baking position as they become trained and independent. What You'll Learn & Do Assist with daily bakery production Prepare doughs, croissants, creams, and other bakery components Learn our recipes, production schedules, and quality standards Bake and finish products consistently and accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace Help with prep, stocking, cleaning, and general kitchen responsibilities Gradually take on more independent production as training progresses Pay & Growth Starting pay: $14/hour Approximately 20-32 hours per week to start Opportunity to grow into a full-time position Potential to earn approximately $17-18/hour once fully trained and able to independently handle the responsibilities of the position All bakery-specific training is provided

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has previous baking, restaurant, kitchen, or food-service experience Is eager to learn and receptive to hands-on training Is available to work early mornings - shifts are 5 am to 1:30 pm Is dependable, punctual, and able to follow detailed recipes and procedures Works efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Is comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced kitchen Wants an opportunity to grow rather than simply looking for a short-term job Can commit to working with us through the entire holiday season and at least through February 2027 Students and applicants early in their baking or culinary careers are welcome to apply. Professional bakery experience is helpful but not required if you have a strong work ethic, some food-service experience, and a genuine desire to learn.
