Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a love for baking, ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing muffins, coffee cakes and cookies, while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. The position is for approximately 4 hours in the morning (7am to 11am ... 5 to 7 days a week) with potentially adding more hours as the season progresses. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a range of baked goods including pastries, and desserts. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other baking tools. Skills Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques. Proficient in food preparation and production processes. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience with pastry creation is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives and baking tools.
