In this role, you'll be an essential part of the bakery production process, helping to create high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in food processing, ensuring that products meet safety and quality standards while supporting efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to contribute to a team dedicated to food safety and excellence. Responsibilities Assist in the daily operations of bakery production, including mixing, shaping, baking and packaging baked goods. Follow all FDA regulations, HACCP protocols, and CGMP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality throughout the production process. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area by adhering to strict sanitation procedures. Operate basic machinery and equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, and packaging machines, with mechanical knowledge as needed. Ensure accurate documentation of production activities and quality checks as required by food industry standards. Assist with pallet jack operation when necessary for moving ingredients, pans or finished products within the plant. Qualifications Prior experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic understanding of food processing techniques and sanitation procedures within a food industry environment. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate or learn to operate bakery equipment safely. Strong attention to detail to ensure product consistency and compliance with safety standards. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and working in a fast-paced setting. Good communication skills for effective teamwork within a diverse work environment.
