Job Description
Bittersweet Bakehouse is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our weekend bakery team.
This is a regular Friday Sunday schedule, approximately 18.5 hours/week at $17/hour.
Because we re a small bakery, reliability is our top priority we need someone our team can count on.
SCHEDULEFriday 1 5 PM Production support, finishing, packaging, and Saturday prep.
Saturday 8 AM 3 PM Customer service, sandwich preparation, stocking, packaging, and general bakery support.
Sunday 7:30 AM 3 PM Customer service, sandwiches, stocking, packaging, and daily bakery operations. From May October, you ll be the main person at the bakery while I m at the farmers market.
The schedule is generally consistent, with occasional adjustments based on bakery needs. Sunday responsibilities will evolve as we transition from farmers market season to regular Sunday bakery hours. Training provided.
Because we re a small team, last-minute call-offs and frequent schedule changes are difficult to accommodate. Planned time off is absolutely possible we simply ask for as much advance notice as possible so we can arrange coverage.
Our planned bakery closures include: Memorial Day weekend Fourth of July weekend Weekend after Thanksgiving Weekend after Christmas First week of JanuaryOutside of our planned closures, you re welcome to take an occasional weekend off for vacations or personal plans. We just ask that we plan those dates together ahead of time so we can make sure the bakery is covered.
