Responsibilities:

• Mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules
• Operate mixing equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Monitor mixing process to achieve desired consistency and quality
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during mixing and handling of ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow

Experience:

• Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with catering or restaurant operations is beneficial
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

Requirements:

• Proficient in food handling and safety practices
• Understanding of food industry regulations and guidelines
• Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Stand, walk, bend, use hands, appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods
• Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability
