Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team cross-trained as a Pie Maker/Assistant Baker. This role is essential in ensuring that our food production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background and experience in various aspects of food preparation, baking, and customer service. Commitment and Teachability are a must. Duties Prepare and bake a variety of products according to established recipes. Package finished products for sale or distribution, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Assist in food production processes, including preparation of ingredients and cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients and addressing their needs effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the kitchen. Qualifications Experience in baking and pastry arts preferred; but Teachability is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is an advantage. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with packaging techniques for various food products is beneficial.
