Definition:

Under the supervision of the Uhuru Bakery Manager, the Baker leads daily bakery production and oversees baking operations. This is a hands-on role that requires strong baking skills. The Baker ensures products are made consistently, efficiently, on schedule and to quality standards.

Essential Functions :

Produce muffins, pastries, pies and other baked goods. Follow and scale recipes accurately based on production needs. Maintain consistent quality in taste, texture, and appearance. Create and manage daily prep lists, shop lists and production schedules as assigned. Ensure safe food handling and sanitation practices. Qualifications Strong commercial retail or wholesale baking experience required. ServSafe Certification required before starting. Organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Follows recipes accurately and completely. Must participate in Uhuru Foods trainings.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
