Full-Time (preferred) or Part Time Morning Baker/Kitchen Staff - Job Description Clyde Coffee Join our kitchen team and bring your culinary talents to life as we create delightful baked goods that our customers will love! Job Overview Clyde Coffee is seeking a Full-Time Morning Baker/Day shift Kitchen staff member to join our team. As a morning baker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting delicious baked goods that delight our customers. As a member of our kitchen crew, you will prep food for front of house, make specialty syrups and baked goods in support of a very very busy cafe/coffee shop. Responsibilities •
Prepare and Bake:
Accurately follow recipes to prepare and bake a variety of pastries, prepped food items, syrups and other baked goods. •
Quality Control:
Ensure all baked items meet our high standards for taste, appearance, and freshness. •
Cleanliness:
Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety standards. •
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen team members and front of house staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of baked goods. •
Customer Interaction:
Occasionally assist with customer service, taking special orders, and providing product recommendations. Qualifications •
Experience:
Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role is preferred. •
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to follow recipes accurately. •
Physical Ability:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment. •
Time Management:
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. •
Early Riser:
Willingness to start work early in the morning to ensure fresh baked goods are ready for opening. •
Team Player:
Strong communication skills, maturity, and the ability to work well within a team. Working Conditions •
Schedule:
Full-time position with early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. •
Environment:
Work in a commercial kitchen setting with exposure to heat, noise, and potentially hazardous equipment. •
