Job Overview Clyde Coffee is seeking a Full-Time Morning Baker/Day shift Kitchen staff member to join our team. As a morning baker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting delicious baked goods that delight our customers. As a member of our kitchen crew, you will prep food for front of house, make specialty syrups and baked goods in support of a very very busy cafe/coffee shop. Responsibilities •
Prepare and Bake:
Accurately follow recipes to prepare and bake a variety of pastries, prepped food items, syrups and other baked goods. •
Quality Control:
Ensure all baked items meet our high standards for taste, appearance, and freshness. •
Cleanliness:
Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety standards. •
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen team members and front of house staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of baked goods. •
Customer Interaction:
Occasionally assist with customer service, taking special orders, and providing product recommendations. Qualifications •
Experience:
Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role is preferred. •
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to follow recipes accurately. •
Physical Ability:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment. •
Time Management:
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. •
Early Riser:
Willingness to start work early in the morning to ensure fresh baked goods are ready for opening. •
Team Player:
Strong communication skills, maturity, and the ability to work well within a team. Working Conditions •
Schedule:
Full-time position with early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. •
