Nothing Bundt Cakes in West Asheville, NC 275 Smokey Park Hwy, Unit 261 Asheville, NC 28806 Seeking team members to join our Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery team in West Asheville, NC! We are hiring part time team members for our Front of House and Back of House team. Our mission is to Bring the Joy every day! The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) team member creates a warm, welcoming environment for our guests, offers creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions and helps create and sell our delicious cakes. Our managers are committed to your success and further development, within the brand and overall career. - Promptly greets walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs.
- Maintains strong product knowledge and processes guest orders efficiently and accurately.
- Suggests additional merchandise, including balloons, candles and cards, to complete unique celebration.
- Upholds a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows and other surfaces.
- Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
- Assists the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
- Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
- Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
Back of House Duties:
- Back of House Team Members will learn to: Bake all sizes and flavors of cake according to our recipes and processes, Frost all sizes of cake according to our recipes and processes, and wash dishes
- Keep Baking, Frosting and Utility area cleaned and sanitized
- Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
- Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
