Pay:

$14-$18 per hour, based on skills and experience Farmer and the Dail is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Baker's Assistant to join our production team. This position will focus primarily on cheesecake production, including preparing crusts, mixing cheesecake fillings, assembling products, and helping each batch move smoothly from preparation through baking and storage. This is a hands-on production role for someone who enjoys working with food, following detailed recipes, and creating a consistent product every time. Responsibilities Prepare crusts and cheesecake fillings according to established recipes Accurately weigh, measure, and portion ingredients Prepare pans and assist with assembling, baking, cooling, and storing cheesecakes Follow production lists, recipes, food-safety procedures, and labeling standards Maintain consistency in the appearance, flavor, and quality of finished products Keep workstations, equipment, and production areas clean and organized Wash dishes and complete routine cleaning as part of the production process Assist with other bakery production tasks as needed What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained Careful attention to measurements, timing, cleanliness, and detail Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining consistency Able to follow written recipes and verbal instructions Professional baking, pastry, or commercial kitchen experience is preferred but not required Willingness to learn and take feedback Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds Schedule This position will begin at approximately 15-20 hours per week , with the possibility of additional hours as production needs grow. Shifts will be scheduled during the week based on production needs and the selected applicant's availability. Compensation $14-$18 per hour , depending on demonstrated skills, baking experience, and production-kitchen experience.
