We are a medium volume cafe that makes a lot of one item at once. This job comes with a lot of repetition, sense of urgency, and hard work. But if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life, right? There's absolutely room to grow depending on your attitude, self sufficiency & eagerness to learn more. The right candidate will be trained accordingly! This will be a part time position to begin; day starting at 5:30AM and ending between 9:30/10:30AM, three to four days a week. Training period is a maximum period of up to three weeks (but you'll always be training after!

This job is best suited for individuals who like to move around and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with little downtime outside of breaks/meals. Wildflour Cafe is an open kitchen so it is imperative that a nice smile, kind attitude, good personal hygiene, basic customer service and knowledge are present. We also offer flexible scheduling and are able to work around time off requests. Additional benefits include staff meals, holidays off (we close for the big ones) and paid time off (after a minimum of six-months on the job). Basic tasks of each day will include:

Scooping cookies
Garnishing pastries
Morning bake
off routine
Scooping muffins/cupcakes
Shaping pastries
Cutting pies/cheesecakes & garnishing
Forming pie crusts
Fruit prep
Aiding in dishwashing
Aiding in clearing the front area of dirty dishes Things will be kept super basic until the routine is down pat.
