Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of caked, cookies, pastries, and other baked items while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of products including pastries, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to meet health and safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and other baking tools safely and efficiently. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Package finished products for sale or distribution while ensuring proper labeling. Collaborate with team members to create new recipes and improve existing ones. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Requirements Proven experience in food production or as a cook in a restaurant or bakery setting. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Strong culinary skills with proficiency in using kitchen tools, including knives. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines. A creative mindset with the ability to innovate new recipes or improve existing ones is preferred.
