Duties Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries and desserts with precision and creativity. Manage the entire food production process, from ingredient sourcing to final presentation, ensuring quality standards are met. Package baked goods attractively for retail or catering purposes, maintaining presentation quality during handling. Assist in food preparation tasks across the kitchen, supporting overall kitchen operations and ensuring timely service. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes, improve existing products, and innovate dessert offerings. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, and accommodating special requests when possible. Experience Proven pastry experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a bakery, restaurant, or catering setting. Strong skills in cake decorating, baking techniques, and food presentation. Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools. Previous experience working in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable. Excellent knife skills combined with culinary experience in food preparation and cooking processes.
