This role is perfect for someone with a passion for bakery artistry and a commitment to delivering beautifully decorated, high-quality products that delight our customers. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for decorating cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items while maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Creatively decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order itemsAssist in the production of bakery items such as parfaits, bars, and cupcakesProduce in-house products according to daily production levelsMaintain accurate production and spoilage recordsPrepare, package, weigh, and price bakery products for saleMonitor product quality, freshness, and proper rotationProvide exceptional customer service in a friendly and timely mannerMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work and shopping environmentEnsure all equipment meets cleanliness and safety standardsPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Strong cake decorating skills, including flowers, borders, and piping techniquesSolid understanding of bakery products and presentation standardsAbility to follow recipes, directions, and established proceduresBasic math skills for recipe adjustments and conversionsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesPassion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality productsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency Experience & Education High School Diploma or equivalent requiredProfessional or in-depth training in cake decorating preferredMinimum of 2+ years of cake decorating experience in a retail environmentAbility to speak, read, and understand EnglishDetail-oriented with a strong artistic eye What We Offer We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Plan50% Lunch Discount25% In-Store Shopping DiscountAnd more!
