Description:
Shift is 4pm-1230am Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. (off on Thurs/Fri) We offer: Paid Vacation, Personal and Sick time. Paid Holidays Medical, Dental and Vision benefits 401k with company match Work with the night production team to bake and package pastries, bagels, pretzels, breads, cakes, and other items to fulfill Zaro's retail store orders. This position must be versatile and move amongst departments based on the scheduled production demands and managers' discretion.Requirements:
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Pull raw materials for the shift as directed Pan up and bake various raw products in sequential order and according to baking specifications. Ensure that quality is met at all stages of baking and packing. Consistently work with the team on the line to accomplish the production goals. Work with sense of urgency to pack orders and meet the trucking departure deadline. Assist with setting up and breaking down the kitchen at the end of the shift. Proper labeling and dating of ingredients and recipes. Take direction from leadership. Maintain food storage area, refrigerator, freezer, dry goods Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice. Adhere to all food safety and health standards set by Quality Assurance department. Follow all safety programs and promote an accident-free environment by building good daily habits.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs Ability to perform job functions in hot and/or cold environment Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work through repetitive motions. Ability to squat, reach, bend, pull, push, or be otherwise physically engaged during their shiftGeneral Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Follow scheduling procedures, punctual start to the shift, consistent attendance Ability to work as part of a diverse team Ability to read English Good communication skills - oral and written Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Must work at the speed of the line and with a sense of urgency Keep work area clean and ensure all safety protocols are followedBenefits
