Kingston Bread and Bar, a retail and wholesale bakery specializing in sourdough bread and laminated pastries, is seeking new bakery team members to assist with the production of our signature products. Job Overview:

Our bread is the core of our business, and we are constantly focused on making it better and more consistent. Our bread team is small and we are looking to add someone to assist with various bread and pastry team responsibilities.

Qualifications :

• Experience working in a professional kitchen or bakery.
• Experience baking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Ability to stand and work for shifts of 8+ hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Available on weekends

Primary Responsibilities:

• Scaling and ingredient preparation
• Assisting with bread production and baking
• Finishing and packing breads and pastries
• Assisting with various pastry and other prep tasks as needed
• Maintaining a clean and organized work space

We believe in feeding and supporting our community with the best handmade bread, fresh food, and beverages in the Hudson Valley. We work with local food suppliers, breweries, and vineyards to connect our patrons with their neighbors, and we strive to make every person who up to our window feel like a guest—not a customer. KB+B opened a brick and mortar shop in February 2020, and have operated in many different formats over the past two years. We recently opened a state-of-the-art production facility with all new equipment and room for our baking team to expand, grow, and continue to push the limits of great bread and pastry.
