Job Description
If you enjoy baked goods in a gourmet store environment, you will love our Bakery Clerk position! We have an immediate need for a PT Bakery Clerk in our North Babylon store. Our Bakery Clerks create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Bakery Clerks should be friendly and courteous to customers, working with management and other associates to provide a high level of customer service. Responsibilities Greet all customers and provide prompt and courteous assistanceSelect bakery goods, box, bag and label each order after weighing for accuracy - label to be placed on each bagged or boxed itemMaintain a clean, organized and safe work environmentClean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with our company policy Keep floors clean and clear of debris and spillsEnsure that all department equipment is clean and working properlyRotate products to ensure freshness and ensure accurate signage for the departmentPrepare bakery trays for each order to exceed our customer's expectationsOther duties and functions as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to speak, read and understand the English languageA great customer service attitude is required with the interest in working with our gourmet baked goods We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 50% off on lunch, 25% store discount and more!
