Assistant Baker First Village Coffee — Ossining, NY Part-time with opportunity to grow Love baking and want to get better at it? First Village Coffee is looking for a dependable, enthusiastic Assistant Baker to join our bakery team. You do NOT need to be an expert baker. Some professional baking, pastry, restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we're willing to train someone who has the right attitude, work ethic and desire to learn.

Starting pay:

$19/hour with opportunities for raises and additional hours as you grow. Current Schedule Approximately 20 - 25 hours/week We're looking for someone who: Loves working with food Has some baking or professional kitchen experience Is extremely dependable—especially at 4 AM! Works cleanly and efficiently Pays attention to detail Takes direction well Wants to learn Is comfortable working as part of a small team Takes pride in making beautiful food This could be an especially good opportunity for a culinary student, recent culinary graduate, restaurant cook looking to move into baking, or an experienced home baker looking to gain professional experience. We care much more about finding the right person than finding the perfect résumé.
