Chocolate Shop Associate Cocoa Lounge — Tanger Outlets, Sunbury, Ohio Full-Time & Part-Time | Starting at $15/hour Cocoa Lounge is a new specialty chocolate shop opening inside Tanger Outlets in Sunbury, Ohio, offering prepared chocolate confections, sipping chocolates, teas, and other treats. We are currently building our opening team and are looking for friendly, energetic people who genuinely enjoy interacting with customers. Previous retail or food-service experience is not required . We are much more interested in personality, dependability, willingness to learn, and the way you treat the people who walk through our doors. Our products, procedures, and preparation methods can be taught. A positive attitude and sincere interest in providing a great customer experience are much more important to us. What You'll Do As a Chocolate Shop Associate, you will help customers enjoy their experience at Cocoa Lounge from the moment they enter the store.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers and providing friendly, attentive service Learning our products so you can answer questions and make recommendations Operating the checkout and accurately completing customer purchases Stocking and organizing merchandise Preparing sipping chocolates and teas according to established recipes and portioning procedures Safely handling prepared food and beverage products Washing, drying, and properly storing dishes and preparation equipment Keeping customer, preparation, and work areas clean and organized Following Cocoa Lounge's food-safety, cleanliness, and operating procedures Helping create a welcoming environment where customers feel comfortable asking questions, exploring our products, and enjoying their visit Who We're Looking For The strongest candidates will be people who: Enjoy talking with and helping customers Are friendly, energetic, and engaged while working Are dependable and arrive ready to work their scheduled shifts Can learn and consistently follow recipes, procedures, and food-safety standards Are comfortable learning detailed product knowledge Can work independently while also contributing to a small team Take pride in keeping their workspace clean and organized Are comfortable standing throughout their scheduled shift Are at least 18 years old No previous experience is required. Training will be provided. Scheduling Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Cocoa Lounge's current store hours are:

Monday-Thursday:

10:00 AM-8:00

PM Friday-Saturday:

10:00 AM-9:00

PM Sunday:

11:00 AM-7:00 PM Schedules will be created with employee availability and individual needs in mind. School and college schedules may be accommodated where practical. Once a schedule has been established, employees are expected to reliably work their assigned shifts.
