```Duties```

• Be a bright and cheerful presence at the front of the Bakery. Assist customers in selecting bakery items and provide exceptional customer service
• Prepare and package bakery products such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
• Ensure the bakery area is clean, organized, and well-stocked including building or placing stickers on small pastry boxes
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Up-sell bakery items to increase sales by listening intently to customer requests
• Quickly and accurately enter data into POS system and provide appropriate change
• Prepare basic coffee and espresso drinks. Our machinery does most of the work, but the Bakery Clerk ensures the measurements of added flavors is correct
• Answer telephone calls and assist customer on the phone with orders or answer questions
• This is a tip-eligible position ```Qualifications```
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food preparation setting preferred
• Friendly and personable demeanor
• enjoy gift wrapping, tying bows and making mall gift baskets or assembling cookie trays
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines
• Basic math skills for retail transactions
