Position Summary:

The Pizza/Deli Associate is responsible for maintaining both Simple Simon's Pizza and deli operations. This position requires employees to prepare food, maintain product availability, follow production plans, and keep both departments clean, stocked, and customer-ready throughout the shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare Simple Simon's pizzas and other menu items according to recipes, portions, and quality standards. Complete and follow daily PPD/production lists . Maintain appropriate production levels based on sales and customer demand. Keep the Simple Simon's wall/area fully stocked, faced, organized, and presentable . Fill and maintain the deli area throughout the shift. Prepare deli products as assigned. Monitor product dates, freshness, rotation, and food quality. Follow FIFO and proper food-handling procedures. Maintain clean food-preparation areas, equipment, counters, floors, coolers, and storage areas. Complete required department paperwork accurately. Assist customers and provide friendly, prompt service. Communicate low inventory, equipment problems, or product concerns to management. Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as scheduled. Follow all Oasis Fresh Market policies, food-safety procedures, and department SOPs. Complete other duties as assigned.

Schedule Requirements:

Must have open availability , including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Education & Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required . Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills appropriate for the position. Ability to complete required department paperwork and checklists accurately. Previous grocery, retail, food service, or related experience is preferred but not required . Must be willing and able to complete all required Oasis Fresh Market training. Food-handling positions must follow all applicable food-safety and sanitation training requirements.

Pay:

$10.00 - $13.00 per hour
