We operate out of Bohemia BakeShop in Cottage Grove and are seeking someone with real experience in classical French pastry. This is not an entry-level position.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of professional French pastry training and experience Extensive knowledge of laminated doughs, viennoiserie, and classical French pastry techniques Must be exceptionally CLEAN and

ORGANIZED

— this is our #1 priority. Verifiable professional references (references must be reachable) Able to follow direction and eventually work independently with minimal supervision Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Flexible availability and able to work at least 3-4 days per week Comfortable working overnight shifts, typically 9:00 PM-7:00 AM, with long hours when needed Comfortable being on camera from time to time and working around social media content creation. We are a younger couple who actively share our bakery journey online, so you may occasionally be part of videos, photos, or behind-the-scenes content.

Starting Pay:

$18/hour (cash pay) An Opportunity to Learn While we require someone who already has a solid foundation in French pastry, this is also an amazing opportunity for someone who genuinely wants to learn and grow. Chef Anthony brings nearly 20 years of professional kitchen and pastry experience, including experience working in highly regarded kitchens and bakeries such as Bouchon in Las Vegas and other Michelin-starred establishments. He is extremely hands-on and believes in teaching. You won't simply be told what to do and left on your own — you'll have the opportunity to learn directly from a chef with decades of professional experience.
