Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Morning Baker to join our bakery team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods early in the day, ensuring everything meets our quality standards. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about baking, enjoys working in a lively environment, and takes pride in delivering fresh, tasty products to our customers. Hours - Tuesday-Saturday 3:30am-11:30pm. Saturdays required. Duties Prepare doughs, batters, and pastry fillings according to established recipes and specifications. Bake a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies with precision and care. Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques such as icing, piping, and cake decorating tools. Operate kitchen equipment like mixers, ovens, proofers, and slicing machines safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean workspace by following food safety protocols and ensuring all tools and surfaces are sanitized regularly. Package baked items carefully for retail sale or wholesale orders, ensuring presentation quality. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support high-volume production demands. Skills Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation within a food industry setting. Strong knife skills and knowledge of dough preparation techniques. Familiarity with cake decorating methods and food presentation standards. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to meet early morning deadlines. Customer service mindset for interacting with retail customers or wholesale clients when necessary.
