Cookie Whipped is a growing hispanic + woman-owned custom cookie bakery in Justin, TX celebrating 10 years. We're looking for a reliable Lead Delivery Driver who's also comfortable helping in the bakery as a backup team member. This is a hybrid role — you'll spend most days delivering cookies across DFW using your own vehicle, and on slower delivery days you'll help our bakery team with packaging, basic baking prep, and light cleaning. Perfect for someone who wants steadier weekly hours than pure gig delivery work, but doesn't want to be tied to a desk. We're also looking for Backup Drivers to cover shifts when the lead is unavailable. Compensation Structure Delivery pay (per route):

Dallas Deliveries:

$25.00 per drop-off

Same-Area Add-ons:

$10.00 for each additional delivery in the same area

Efficiency Bonus:

You will always have at least two deliveries per trip

Volume:

6-10+ deliveries per week Immediate payout at end of your final drop-off for the day Bakery Assistant pay (per hour): $10.00/hour for in-bakery work (packaging, basic baking prep, cleaning) Bakery hours available on slower delivery days or when the lead delivery driver covers routes Weekly earning potential: $200-$400/week depending on delivery volume + bakery hours.

Responsibilities Delivery:

Deliver cookies safely and punctually in your own reliable vehicle Ensure order accuracy and professional, warm hand-offs at each location Navigate efficiently through the DFW area using GPS systems Bakery Assistant (backup): Package finished cookie orders (boxing, sealing, labeling) Help with basic baking prep (dough scooping, cookie shaping, ingredient prep) Light kitchen cleaning and sanitization Follow food safety guidelines and Cookie Whipped SOPs Requirements Valid Driver's License and active auto insurance Reliable personal vehicle Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or Uber/Lyft/DoorDash driver preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a food-service environment (food handler's card preferred — we'll help you get certified if you don't have one) Ability to be on your feet and lift up to 25 lbs
