We're looking for an experienced, professional baker to join our team on a part-time basis. About the

Role:

You'll be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods for our market case and prepared foods program — think fresh breads, pastries, and daily specials that reflect our commitment to quality and local sourcing. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of a growing, community-focused business.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods from scratch on a consistent schedule
• Maintain recipe consistency and high quality standards
• Manage inventory of baking ingredients and place orders as needed
• Keep the bakery area clean, organized, and up to code
• Collaborate with kitchen and market staff on seasonal items and specials
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

• Professional baking experience required (bakery, restaurant, or similar setting)
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality work
• Early morning availability preferred
