Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Smoothie Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious smoothies while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to an enjoyable experience for our customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of smoothies according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety standards and regulations. Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Operate cash registers for processing payments, handling cash transactions with precision. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Stay informed about menu items, including nutritional information and seasonal offerings, to effectively communicate with customers. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and retail math calculations. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Experience in a café or similar environment is a plus, particularly with smoothie or beverage preparation. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation and other menu items can enhance your role within our team.
