With a focus on freshly baked bread, creative pastries, and locally roasted coffee, we are a group of passionate individuals striving to provide convivial hospitality to our community. We are in search of a part time Bakery Team Member to join our team.

Time commitment:

20-25hrs (approximately 3 days/wk) Responsibilities Duties include: Assist in keeping cleanliness standards in front and back of the shop (i.e., wiping counters, sweeping/mopping floors, washing utensils, etc.). Scaling/measuring ingredients for house made syrups, spreads, marinades etc. Take customer orders, package pastries and bread. Prepare beverages per shop standards and recipes. Helping with dishes as needed. The perfect candidate will deliver excellent guest service experience at all times. This position requires constant standing, walking and bending, and the ability to lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Schedule:

This position's schedule is TBD, but all shifts will be between 7am-2pm Monday-Sunday. We are closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day.

Previous experience in commercial kitchen is optimal. Previous barista experience is a plus, but not required. Training on our equipment, processes, and any refresher training needed will be provided. Should have an ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, learn quickly, and be open to input. Open to being cross-trained in other areas of the bakery to help during slower shifts. Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards is required Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels Excellent attention to detail in recipe adherence and product presentation A positive attitude with strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within the bakery team

Pay:

From $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
