• Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cookies, and cakes, following established recipes and standards.
• Ensure the consistency and quality of all products by carefully measuring ingredients and monitoring baking times and temperatures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing ones, keeping up with industry trends and customer preferences.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient production and minimal waste.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Decorate and present finished products in an appealing and professional manner.
• Assist with the training and development of junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successfully baked products.
• In-depth understanding of baking techniques and the science behind ingredient interactions.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
