Job Summary Join our bakery team as an Assistant Baker. In this role, you will be in charge of making pie crusts, cookies and pie fillings. You may also be asked to help with the front of the store and assist with customers when needed. The work here is pretty simple and the environment is very laidback. This position is beginner friendly and a great opportunity to start developing your baking experience. Duties Prepare pie crusts, cookies, and pie fillings Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers and ovens Support baking preparation by measuring ingredients accurately and mixing ingredients to achieve optimal consistency Package baked items securely for sale Assist the front of the store and attend to customers when needed Assist in cleanup by washing dishes, sweeping and mopping Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Morning/early afternoon availability needed Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes Must be okay with repetitive work Excellent attention to detail to ensure consistency in baked goods quality and presentation Customer service skills are desirable for engaging with customers Join our pie team today to help craft baked goods that bring joy to our customers every day!
