Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Second Shift Chocolate Decorator, working Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. In this lively role, you will bring artistry and precision to the creation of exquisite baked goods and confections, specializing in decorative chocolate work. Your enthusiasm for food production, pastry decoration, and high-volume manufacturing will help us deliver beautifully crafted products that delight our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, food industry environment dedicated to quality and innovation. Responsibilities Decorate cake bites, chocolates, and baked goods with intricate designs using various chocolate techniques and tools Prepare and assemble baked items, ensuring consistency with recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, tempering machines, and decorating tools safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to food safety standards and ensure a hygienic environment Package finished products carefully for shipment or display, ensuring presentation meets company standards Assist in chocolate preparation, assembly, and other food preparation tasks as needed during high-volume production periods Follow recipes precisely while adhering to food safety management protocols and food handling regulations Requirements Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or food production within a bakery or culinary setting Knowledge of baking processes, including working with baked goods and confectionery items like chocolates Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, tempering machines, and decorating tools confidently Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes Excellent attention to detail to ensure recipe adherence and product consistency Experience in high-volume production environments within the food industry is preferred Commitment to food safety practices, including proper food handling and workspace sanitation Embark on a rewarding journey where your craftsmanship elevates our delectable creations! Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
