We are seeking a creative and skilled Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a strong emphasis on food safety. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a vital role in creating beautiful and delicious cakes for various occasions, ensuring that every product meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and seasonal themes. Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping. Ensure all cakes are prepared in compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage inventory and maintain supplies needed for cake decoration. Package finished products attractively for display or delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and tools. Stay updated on industry trends in cake decorating to continually enhance skills. Qualifications Must be the age of 18 years old. Proven experience in cake decorating or a related field within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with pastry techniques and kitchen equipment, including knives and mixers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in catering is a plus but not required.
